Terms of Service

Rush County Released Inmates is privately owned and is not affiliated with Rush County, any sheriff, jail, corrections department, or government body. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers FCRA-covered services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency, and its material cannot be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another regulated decision.

Nature of the Service

This private reference site stores no official government record. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a request or court document for a visitor. It organizes links and general instructions for Rush County Jail records, Kansas corrections searches, supervision information, release notifications, and federal or immigration custody sources. Some pages connect users to independent research tools.

Acceptable Use

By using the site, you agree that you will not:

  • violate a law or another person’s rights;
  • stalk, threaten, harass, or harm anyone;
  • use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated decision;
  • seek access to systems or data without authorization;
  • operate bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools; or
  • interfere with the site or another visitor’s use.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report, and neither it nor its advertising partners supplies screening services. You agree not to use site content for:

  • hiring, firing, or other employment action;
  • tenant selection or housing decisions;
  • creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
  • licenses, permits, or government-program eligibility; or
  • any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

External Resources

Links may point to the Rush County Sheriff, Kansas courts, KDOC, KASPER, VINE, federal locators, legal resources, or commercial search providers. A link does not endorse the destination. This site does not control an outside service’s content, data practices, prices, terms, or uptime. Review the destination’s rules before using it.

Service Provided As Is

All content and functions are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that:

  • information is accurate, complete, or current;
  • the site will remain available without interruption;
  • software is free from errors, bugs, or security flaws; or
  • a partner search will return every relevant record.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement from the Rush County Sheriff, Rush County Jail, KDOC, a court, or another agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, its owners, and its contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from access, use, inability to use, or reliance on the site or a linked service.

Your Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site, its owners, and its contributors from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use, misuse, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

Ownership

Unless otherwise identified, the site’s original text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Rush County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without prior written permission. Government records and third-party materials remain subject to their own rights and rules.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be revised at any time. New wording becomes effective when posted. Continued use after publication means you accept the revised Terms.

Suspension of Access

Access may be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, for any lawful reason and without advance notice, including misuse or conduct that threatens the service or others.

Kansas Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kansas. References to Kansas public records may include the Kansas Open Records Act, K.S.A. 45-215 et seq., but these Terms do not alter access rights created by law.

Severability

If a court finds one part of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected part will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
