Rush County Transportation

Rush County Public Transportation is at 804 W. 1st in La Crosse and can be reached at 785-222-3537. It runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no evening, weekend, courthouse-holiday, or unsafe-road service. Service is first come, first served and is not a dedicated jail pickup. Published fares are $2 within La Crosse, $5 within the county, $8 for Tuesday Hays and last-Tuesday Great Bend trips, and $20 on other unscheduled out-of-county service days. The stated service radius is 60 miles, and some trips require a price call. Availability is not guaranteed.
